Hospital-Base Daycare Service for Sick Children

Many parents work during the day, so it’s difficult to miss work when a child is ill. “Under the Weather” Ill Daycare is a hospital-based daycare service for sick children.

The ill child is not hospitalized, but is cared for in his or her own room on the Pediatrics Unit. Our ill daycare is staffed by our Pediatrics nursing staff, and Foster Grandparents are available to entertain the child.

Parents are asked to call and pre-register before bringing a child to this daycare.
