Individual Programs to Meet Inpatient and Outpatient Treatment Needs

Avera St. Luke’s offers a full range of rehabilitation services for people who have suffered an injury or illness, had surgery, or simply need some therapy to regain function. We provide inpatient (staying in the hospital) and outpatient (scheduled appointments) programs based on your rehabilitation needs.

Welcome, Dr. Yoo

We welcome Dr. Jae Yoo, a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist, who has opened Avera Physical Medicine Specialists in Aberdeen in Suite E202 of Physicians Plaza, 201 S Lloyd St. Dr. Yoo will also be helping patients at Avera St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Center.

Rehabilitation Center

Our Rehabilitation Center is the only facility of its kind in the region. The center, located on the hospital’s fourth floor, helps more than 70 percent of patients admitted with significant physical and cognitive problems return home. You’ll find a warm, inviting Activity/Dining Room, and a transitional apartment that enables patients and their caregiver the opportunity to practice and explore new skills in a safe environment.

Our Rehabilitation Center is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke Specialty programs.

Our program does not accept ventilator-dependent patients or pediatric patients.
